A mix of words and images…to tell a story

I believe all artists are storytellers and all the stories are true. Though it’s rarely about how true a story is as opposed to where it takes you. Even a single figure on a page has a story or tells one. But how to classify such a thing? On a trip to London I came across another artist who asked to see some of my work. Flipping through the images on my phone, we came across one of my Gothic Pin-ups which he described as provocative.

I thought, ” I like that”, that one singular word “provocative”.

Often times my art is archaic, definitely adult. I create Gothic, Fantasy and Comic as well as Erotic Art  but none of the descriptive words and genre titles could so adequately encompass what I think my art embodies especially since I mix genres, techniques and media. Yet creating images that provoke across or beyond labels…
